Products

Established in 1984, Bill Holland, Sr. laid the foundation for an x-ray company now steeped in years of inventive technology, advanced materials science, and global partnerships. Parker’s 100+ years of combined engineering experience has resulted in a portfolio of superior x-ray imaging components and subsystems, precision machined and plastic parts, and processes that support Parker product manufacturing and validation.

FEDERAL STANDARD HIGH VOLTAGE CONNECTORS

Federal Standard and Extended Federal Standard high voltage cables and receptacles, 75kV to 250kV. The Federal Standard connector has been an industry standard for over 50 years. Parker provides the Federal Standard for most OEM equipment. Smaller connectors using innovative molding techniques have replaced the Federal Standard for equipment requiring reduced size at comparative voltage rating.

HIGH VOLTAGE RECEPTACLES

Parker manufacturers a wide range of low-to-high voltage receptacles rated for 10kV to 250kV applications. Applications range from 10kV interconnects to 60kV receptacles for mammography to higher kV connectors for computerized tomography (CT) and electron beam (EB) applications.

HIGH VOLTAGE CABLES & RECEPTACLES FOR MAMMOGRAPHY

X-ray imaging components for women’s healthcare mammography and bone densitometry equipment were among the first Parker product offerings: high voltage cables, receptacles, Federal Standard/mammo adapter plugs, and x-ray tube shields.

HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE HARNESSES & RECEPTACLES

Parker improved profile (IP) miniaturization connector technology improves electrical performance by reducing electrical/temperature stress at triple points and increases field maintenance interval. Parker’s smooth, small-diameter hose bundling technique for high voltage cable harnesses improves C-arm positioning, extends cable flex life, and meets increased equipment sterilization measures.

INTERCONNECT CABLES

Parker’s line of interconnects is designed to withstand the rigorous conditions required of transporting C-arm and cart equipment throughout the hospital environment. Harness terminations are tested for continuity, shorts, pull strength. Parker has a return/recycle program for mounting bracket and connector casing to recycle parts and help maintain pricing.

POWER CORDS

Parker power cords are a critical component to x-ray imaging equipment operation. They comply with electrical requirements determined by country where equipment will be installed. They bear the UL/CUL mark.

HIGH VOLTAGE FLAT CONNECTORS & GASKETS

Parker fabricates a line of flat connectors ranging from 60kV to 300kV, 1-8 conductors, for applications ranging from bone densitometry to CT scanning where a low-profile connector is desired at either tube or power supply end. Parker’s proprietary critical-durometer thermal gasket formulation ensures compression seal. Reclaimed housing program available.

X-RAY RADIATION REDUCTION & TUBE SUPPORT SHIELDS

Parker proprietary Pb-replacement formulations eliminate lead & lead compounds to house x-ray tubes, reduce off-focus radiation leakage and scatter, and to help define beam focus. Parker precision-machined critical dimension mold tooling produces shields in a range of shapes and sizes: cylindrical, conical, slit-field designs and provides for mounting insert and other component parts encapsulation.

X-RAY TUBE COOLING & OIL PROCESSING

Oil and water-air tube cooling units are produced in a range of cooling capacities with selectable options to maintain clean and gas-free oil circulation. Pressure, flow, and temperature monitoring devices protect and prolong x-ray tube operation. With the transition to rotating tubes, the need for tube cooling is no longer a critical requirement, however, oil processing to maintain optimal system operation remains essential for many applications.

DUAL & MONOPOLE HIGH VOLTAGE DIVIDERS

Parker high voltage dividers ensure x-ray imaging equipment calibration accuracy: anode current, peak voltage, filament current, exposure time. Parker’s world-class ISO 17025 calibration lab ensures divider calibration to 180kV traceable to NIST. Associated high voltage cables, adapters, extension cables, dummy plugs are also available. Parker offers annual calibration programs for dividers and dynalyzers; evaluation and repair services are also part of the program. 250kV calibration accreditation work-in-progress.

LOW VOLTAGE FEED-THRU’S

Parker’s line of 7- and 9-pin feed thru’s serve to supply low voltage to tube housings to power the stator, provide ground, and connect the housing thermal switch. Leak-tight processing and test assure seal to the x-ray tube housing.

HIGH VOLTAGE/HIGH VACUUM CERAMIC FEED-THRU ASSEMBLIES

Parker offers a line of ceramic feed-thru’s for high voltage delivery into vacuum or SF6 chambers. Applications include electron beam (EB) welding, research and science experimentation, semi-conductor lithography, and aeronautics. Parker offers a range of voltage-rated sizes and shapes, and high voltage cables for a variety of power supplies. Parker can also specify, supply, and test power supplies in the high voltage imaging chain.
